Last updated July 24, 2026. This describes how TransitTrends Inc. handles information when you use TOPS (Total Operations Performance Score) and related marketing sites.
This page is an operational summary of current practices for prospects and customers. If your organization has a signed agreement with TransitTrends, that agreement controls where it conflicts with this summary.
Who we are
TransitTrends LLC publishes TOPS (Total Operations Performance Score) on the web and in the App Store / Google Play. MJM Innovations is an operating client named in support materials. Contact: hello@transittrends.ai.
Information we process
- Account data. Name, work email, role, and authentication identifiers for invited users.
- Workforce and operations data. Employee roster fields, schedules, performance events, scores, coaching notes, documentation, recognition records, and related audit history that your organization enters or imports into TOPS.
- Usage data. App activity needed to operate, secure, and improve the service (for example login events and error diagnostics).
- Marketing contact data. Information you send when requesting a demo or contacting us.
How we use information
- Provide and secure the TOPS workspace your organization configures.
- Support role-based access, audit trails, and customer-requested administration.
- Respond to demos, support requests, and service communications.
- Improve reliability and product quality using aggregated or operational telemetry where appropriate.
Access controls
Customer workspaces are isolated. Within a workspace, access is role-scoped. Employees generally see their own performance information; supervisors and leaders see the people and records their role is permitted to access. Sensitive writes and employment decisions remain under human control inside your organization.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We use subprocessors needed to host and operate the service (for example cloud hosting, authentication, email delivery, and optional AI drafting features). Those providers process data under contract to deliver the service.
Retention
We retain account and workspace data for as long as your organization maintains a TOPS workspace, and for a limited period afterward as needed for backups, legal obligations, or dispute resolution. Your organization controls what workforce records it stores in TOPS.
Your choices
Authorized administrators can manage user access. Individuals should contact their employer's TOPS administrator or HR for corrections to workforce records. Marketing contacts can email hello@transittrends.ai to update or delete inquiry information.
Mobile app users can request account deletion in Settings → Account, or by emailing hello@transittrends.ai. Deletion of employer-owned workforce records is processed with the operating client (MJM) according to that organization's retention rules.
Native apps may store a device push token (APNs or FCM) in addition to web push subscriptions. Auth sessions use secure cookies scoped to the TOPS host.
Security
See our Security & trust page for a plain-language overview of controls such as authentication, role-based access, and audit history.
Updates
We may update this policy as the product or legal requirements change. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date on this page.
